Frankie Dettori Teams Up With Bob Baffert In The Breeders’ Cup Classic<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are many Frankie Dettori (53)<\/strong> rides at the Breeders’ Cup over the two-day meeting, including NEWGATE<\/strong> for top US stable Bob Baffert.<\/p>\n

No US stable has won the Breeders’ Cup Classic<\/a> on Saturday more times than Bob Baffert (4 wins) and despite being drawn wider than ideal (13) the horse will still have plenty of backers. Mainly due to a certain Mr. Dettori in the saddle.<\/p>\n

Frankie Dettori has ridden the horse five times before too – winning on him twice.<\/p>\n

Dettori Also Reunites With Emily Upjohn In The Breeders’ Cup Turf<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Having won on EMILY UPJOHN<\/strong> four times when he was stable jockey with John Gosden, connections are turning to Frankie Dettori<\/a> to ride their star mare again at the Breeders’ Cup.<\/p>\n

Emily Upjohn, in fact, hasn’t won a race since 2024 and Frankie Dettori was the last rider to win on the 5 year-old.<\/p>\n

This success came nine runs ago in the Group One Coronation Cup at Epsom in 2023.<\/p>\n

This well-bred Sea The Stars mare will also be having her debut at the Breeders’ Cup, but despite running third the last day (Prix Vermeille). The form of that race has been franked with the winner Bluestocking going on to win the Arc at Longchamp.<\/p>\n
