After over 50 years of training horses, the Sir Michael Stoute final runner goes in the last race at Nottingham on Wednesday afternoon. Wanderlust could end things on a high for the legendary handler.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sir Michael Stoute Final Runner Goes At Nottingham<\/h2>\n

Stoute announced that he would be retiring at the end of the season<\/a> earlier on this year and the time has finally come for him to saddle his final runner.<\/p>\n

After training over 4,000 winners in his illustrious career, WANDERLUST<\/strong> is his final ever runner and takes part in the last race at Nottingham on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The three-year-old will go in the 1m6f handicap at 3:50<\/strong> with Richard Kingscote doing the steering, a jockey who enjoyed his finest hour in the game thanks to Stoute. Kingscote has ridden for Stoute for a number of years now, and lifted 2022 Epsom Derby winner Desert Crown to glory, on just his second ride in the race (see below).<\/p>\n
