Aston Villa fans have taken their frustration to social media as Morgan Rogers is left out of Lee Carsley’s England squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Aston Villa star has made a superb start to the 2024\/25 campaign, contributing to five goals in 10 Premier League appearances (3G+2A).<\/p>\n

Many expected the Englishman to be selected by Lee Carsley in the latest England squad<\/a> following his performances for the Villains – but the interim manager decided against it.<\/p>\n

Jack Grealish, Noni Madueke and Anthony Gordon were selected over Rogers in the forward department, with the Aston Villa player being an option in both midfield and attack.<\/p>\n

In midfield, Conor Gallagher, Morgan Gibbs-White and Angel Gomes were selected instead of the Villans player after featuring in previous squads under Carsley.<\/p>\n

Rogers has been a consistent member in England’s U21 side, featuring against Azerbaijan and Ukraine back in October.<\/p>\n

This is Carsley’s last hurrah as the man in charge of the Three Lions, with Thomas Tuchel set to take from 2025 onward.<\/p>\n

England will face Greece and Ireland in the UEFA Nations League during this international break, as they look to improve on the 2-1 defeat to Greece last time out.<\/p>\n

The Three Lions have accumulated nine points from a possible 12 in the UNL, sitting second in Group 1 of League B and are favourites to win the group on UK betting sites<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa Fans React To Morgan Rogers Being Left Out Of England Squad<\/h2>\n

News of Rogers’ exclusion from the England squad has not gone down well with Aston Villa supporters, with several showing their disapproval online.<\/p>\n

This Villa fan showed their disgust towards the decision and finished their thoughts with ‘Carsley out’.<\/p>\n
