England defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to miss the international break after suffering a hamstring injury for Liverpool during Saturday’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 26-year-old will miss England’s<\/a> Nations League fixtures against Greece and Ireland during the break, adding to Lee Carsley’s injury list.<\/p>\n

Despite the setback, scan results have indicated that the injury is less severe than initially feared and that Trent should return to action shortly after the international break.<\/p>\n

Trent Hamstring Injury Update<\/h2>\n

The injury<\/a> occurred during the first half of Liverpool\u2019s win over Aston Villa<\/a> on Saturday night, when Alexander-Arnold pulled up with pain in his right hamstring.<\/p>\n

In a move that may have prevented further damage, he quickly signalled to be substituted and left the field. Conor Bradley, himself just returning from injury, stepped in to replace him.<\/p>\n
