Rory McIlroy wowed onlookers as he smashed an unbelievable half-volley trick shot ahead of the DP World Tour Championship.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

McIlroy<\/a> is in the Middle East as he bids to close out a sixth Race to Dubai title this weekend. The Northern Irishman was clearly in good form as hit hit the stunning effort.<\/p>\n

Former Premier League<\/a> star-turned golfer Gareth Bale would have been hugely impressed by McIlroy’s efforts. In particular with McIlroy’s close control with the club as he performed a series of ‘kick-ups.’<\/p>\n

Once satisfied with his impressive juggling skills, McIlroy knocked the ball high into the air, letting it bounce once before thundering a seemingly perfect half-volley into the abyss!<\/p>\n

McIlroy will be gunning to end the year on a high and can secure the tour’s No 1 spot for a third successive year. The 35-year-old will be hoping to land the top prize<\/a> at the Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course on Sunday.<\/p>\n
