Tottenham Hotspur have unveiled a new badge design, a minimalist change of its previous crest. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The updated logo removes the words “Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>” from beneath the familiar cockerel standing atop a football, sparking a mixed reaction from fans.<\/p>\n

The cockerel-on-ball design has been a hallmark of Spurs’ identity for decades. In its latest iteration, the club has opted for a cleaner, wordless look.<\/p>\n

An official statement explained the reasoning:<\/p>\n

“We have removed the curved \u2018Tottenham Hotspur\u2019 text from beneath the cockerel. This enables us to increase its scale across different environments and stand proud as a true icon for the Club.”<\/p>\n

While this approach emphasises simplicity, some supporters aren\u2019t convinced the change was necessary.<\/p>\n
