Darting juggernaut Luke Littler vows to ‘switch it up’ should he have the opportunity for a nine-darter again. ‘The Nuke’ is into the semi-finals of the Players Championship Finals in Minehead, looking to make it back-to-back major wins following last week’s triumph at the Grand Slam of Darts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke Littler Vows To ‘Switch It Up’ After Disappointing Crown Twice<\/h2>\n

Luke Littler<\/a> is a name that needs absolutely no introduction now. The 17-year-old was a relative unknown a year ago in the world of darts<\/a>, but is now the single biggest star in the sport and potentially the best player on the planet.<\/p>\n

‘The Nuke’ captured the Grand Slam of Darts<\/a> title last week on debut, catapulting him to fifth in the PDC Order of Merit in the process. This is quite the achievement considering the rankings are based off prize money, and Littler<\/a> only earned money in the PDC for the first time at the World Darts Championship last year at Ally Pally.<\/p>\n

Alongside all of this,\u00a0Littler is now the most followed darts player<\/a>\u00a0in the world, becoming the first man to accumulate over one million followers on social media platform Instagram.<\/p>\n

Littler goes into almost every tournament now as the favourite with the best sports betting sites in the UK<\/a>, alongside world number one Luke Humphries. This week was no different at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead.<\/p>\n

‘The Nuke’ is now into the semi-finals where he will face fellow Englishman Ross Smith. The winner of that will face either Luke Humphries or Dirk van Duijvenbode in the final at Minehead.<\/p>\n

After two failed attempts at a nine-darter this week, Littler has vowed to ‘switch it up’ if he gets another opportunity at one in tonight’s final session:<\/p>\n

“Every time I start any leg with a 180 they expect me to follow up. If I do get a shot, it’s going to be treble 17 for double 15 if I do hit the treble 20. I’ll switch it up,”<\/em> Littler said.<\/p>\n
