PERCY VEERING<\/strong> ended last season with a 36-length third of four at Leicester in March, but he\u2019s had wind surgery since that disappointing effort. His two previous runs immediately following a wind operation resulted in a 12-1 second in handicap hurdle company at Market Rasen and a 10-1 reappearance win in an 18-runner handicap chase at this time last year. Kim Bailey has a 13 from 46 record with handicap chasers on their first start following a wind operation for a profit of \u00a318.71 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP and he looks good value at around the 7-1 mark to bounce back to form.<\/p>\n

In the past couple of seasons Uttoxeter form has travelled well and, since the beginning of 2013, backing all the qualifiers would have found 82 winners from 273 bets (30% strike-rate) for a profit of \u00a356.16 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP. BILLAMS LAGACY<\/strong> bolted up in maiden hurdle at the Staffordshire venue in mid-July when we last saw him and the consistent sort has a good record when fresh.<\/p>\n

In-form Patrick Flynn has a good record on the all-weather with his last time out winners, scoring with 13 of the 47 qualifiers (27.7% strike-rate) for a profit of \u00a311.63 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP. TUDOR MANOR<\/strong> scored comfortably over course and distance 12 days and ago and the lightly raced eight-year-old remains open to improvement on only his fourth all-weather start.<\/p>\n
