Fabian Hurzeler&#8217;s side will be quietly confident of picking up the three points needed to break into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/how-does-the-new-uefa-champions-league-format-work\/\">UEFA Champions League<\/a> places.<\/p>\n<p>Last time out, Hurzeler oversaw a fine 2-1 away win at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/bournemouth-2024-25-fixtures-for-premier-league-fa-cup-league-cup\/\">Bournemouth<\/a> which perfectly complemented their win by the exact same scoreline against the champions before the international break.<\/p>\n<p>Star striker Joao Pedro opened the scoring after just four minutes before Kaoru Mitoma doubled the lead after half-time. Up-and-coming prodigy Carlos Baleba was sent-off on the hour mark which threatened to undo Brighton&#8217;s hard work.<\/p>\n<p>David Brooks pulled one back in injury-time before Antoine Semenyo smashed the bar with just seconds remaining. However, the Seagulls held firm to claim the points.<\/p>\n<p>At the Amex Stadium this season, Hurzeler is yet to taste defeat in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/premier-league-barclays-era-deep-dive\/\">Premier League<\/a>. The German manager has three wins and three draws to his name on home soil.
