Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies was arrested by police for drunk driving in his Lamborghini Urus on Thursday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to German tabloid newspaper Bild, Davies was arrested by police for drunk driving just two days after starring in Bayern’s 1-0 win over PSG in the Champions League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The report states that police noticed a ‘strong odour of alcohol’ when speaking to authorities and he was taken directly to a local station to carry out further testing.<\/p>\n

Police found that the 24-year-old’s blood alcohol level was slightly above the legal limit, recorded at 0.6 g\/l with the maximum set at 0.5 g\/l for experienced drivers.<\/p>\n

Within the German law, this was deemed an infraction and not an offence – with criminal sanction beginning at 0.8 g\/l, so Davies facies a \u20ac500 fine and a one-month driving ban.<\/p>\n

Davies trained with Bayern as normal on Friday morning and the club refused to comment on the matter when approached for a comment by Bild.<\/p>\n
