Red Devils Punish Lacklustre Everton<\/h2>\n

Manchester United cruised to a 4-0 victory over Everton as Marcus Rashford scored his first Premier League brace since February 2023.<\/p>\n

The match got off to a cagey start with both sides creating some half-chances, with the hosts having the majority of possession.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s dominance of the ball was rewarded in the 34th<\/sup> minute as Rashford scored his first of the game \u2013 volleying the ball home from a Bruno Fernandes corner.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils doubled their lead just seven minutes later, with Fernandes providing the assist once again but for Joshua Zirkzee<\/a> this time.<\/p>\n

United went into the break with a two-goal cushion and it looked likely to be a long second-half for the Toffees.<\/p>\n

This proved to be true as things went from bad to worse for Sean Dyche\u2019s side, with Rashford scoring his second of the game just minutes into the second-half.<\/p>\n

The England international made a superb run off the back of the Everton defence and was found by Amad Diallo leaving Rashford to squeeze the ball past Jordan Pickford just inside the near post.<\/p>\n

Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez both received bookings meaning they will miss the upcoming clash against Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Everton were completely deflated after the third goal and United went on to score a fourth as Zirkzee bagged a brace of his own – finishing calmly after some good pressing by Amad.<\/p>\n

United eased through the game from that point on, as Dyche\u2019s men failed to create any chances and left Old Trafford with nothing.<\/p>\n
