Arsenal Set Pieces Prove Too Much For Red Devils<\/h2>\n

Ruben Amorim’s starting eleven shocked several Manchester United fans as the Portuguese coach decided to drop Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee despite the pair scoring braces against Everton.<\/p>\n

However, his selections appeared to be justified as United frustrated Arsenal in the opening 45 minutes with neither side creating many chances.<\/p>\n

The Gunners, who are one of the favourites to win the league on UK betting sites<\/a>, did come close to breaking the deadlock as Bukayo Saka wriggled his way down the right-hand side and almost forced Harry Maguire to score an own goal.<\/p>\n

As the game progressed United started to show some new signs under Amorim, pressing high up the pitch but were lacking that final pass.<\/p>\n

Neither side managed to hit the target in the first half and the match was goal-less going into the second half.<\/p>\n

Arteta’s side looked like they were going to take the lead just minutes after the restart, but Thomas Partey failed to convert from close range.<\/p>\n

However, the Gunners broke the deadlock in the 54th minute from yet another corner, as Jurrien Timber rose highest to flick the ball into the net at the near post.<\/p>\n

Under 20 minutes later Arsenal doubled their lead from yet another corner, with Partey connecting at the back post to head across goal and William Saliba turned it goalwards.<\/p>\n

The visitors showed little sign of life after the second goal, with their best chance falling to Antony who saw his strike comfortably saved by David Raya.<\/p>\n

The match dwindled from that point onward and Arsenal held on to their two goal lead and kept within touching distance of table-topping Liverpool.<\/p>\n
