Fame and fortune soon followed after her Flushing Meadows exertions.<\/p>\n<p>Aged just 19 at the time, Raducanu soon caught the attention of a number of high-profile brands and penned a plethora of sponsorship deals.<\/p>\n<p>However, the 22-year-old hasn&#8217;t come close to replicating the stunning Fairytale of New York win. Nonetheless, that hasn&#8217;t stopped her earning millions in the process.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, it was reported by <em>Sportico<\/em> that Raducanu was the seventh-highest earning female athlete in the world. She also has deals with Nike and Sports Direct.<\/p>\n<p>Now, sports finance expert Dr Rob Wilson has voiced concerns. If Raducanu fails to impress on the court in 2025, sponsors could start to leave her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>But if she doesn\u2019t start winning games, if she doesn\u2019t go deep into tournaments<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>She is going to really struggle to renegotiate or renew any of those commercial endorsements and the career could be over pretty much in its infancy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Which would be a crying shame because she\u2019s a hugely talented individual and hugely marketable as well,&#8221; <\/em>Wilson concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Next month, Raducanu has the perfect opportunity to shine at the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/emma-raducanu-claims-no-one-will-want-to-draw-her-at-australian-open\/\">Australian Open<\/a>. The 22-year-old recently confessed that nobody will want to face her in Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>Injuries over the last two years have blighted Raducanu&#8217;s progress but the world No 57 is getting back to her best. Recently, she has teamed up with former Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova to help improve her game.<\/p>\n<p>Fitness coach Yutaka Nakamura has also been hired by Raducanu in a bid to finally end her injury hell. The Japanese coach has a fine reputation and has worked with a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/tennis\/\">tennis<\/a> stars previously.<\/p>\n<p>The feeling around Raducanu&#8217;s camp is very positive going into the new year.
