Ruben Amorim has addressed Marcus Rashford’s bombshell announcement that he’s ready to leave Manchester United.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashford announced on Tuesday that he feels ready for a new challenge away from Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Manchester United<\/a> academy graduate admitted he would have no issue with ending his 20-year association with the club he grew up supporting.<\/p>\n

But with his current contract still having three years left to run and being one of the club’s top earners, his options for an exit are limited.<\/p>\n

And Amorim has addressed the bombshell exit, leaving an option on the table for the striker he left out of the Manchester derby.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim: I Want Marcus Rashford To Stay<\/h2>\n

While Marcus Rashford<\/a> has struggled to hit the heights of years gone by, Amorim believes the club is better with him in it. And less than 24 hours after Rashford’s shock interview with Henry Winter<\/a>, Amorim insists he wants Rashford to stay.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s right [that he needs a new challenge],” Amorim said. “We have here a new challenge, it\u2019s a tough one, for me it\u2019s the biggest challenge in football<\/a> because we are in a difficult situation and I already said this is one of the biggest clubs in the\u00a0world. This is a really new challenge and the biggest one. I really hope all my players are ready for this new challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rashford has scored just seven goals in 24 appearances this season. His omission from Sunday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City will have been a sore one for the England international. But Amorim is intent on helping Rashford rediscover his best.<\/p>\n
