Speaking to <em>Championat<\/em>, Alexander Ostrovsky, a renowned tennis agent and academy owner, expressed doubts about the true intent behind the partnership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that for now this looks more like a PR stunt than a real tandem,\u201d Ostrovsky stated. \u201cFrom a PR perspective, this is very interesting for the entire tennis community \u2014 for example, to see how Murray will behave in Djokovic\u2019s box.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut how effective will it really be? I can\u2019t say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ostrovsky also acknowledged the 37-year-old\u2019s capacity to compete at the highest level but tempered expectations, saying, \u201cThe 2024 Olympic final showed that if Novak wants something, he gets it. On the other hand, Djokovic certainly hasn\u2019t gotten any younger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very difficult to cheat time. I think that Novak will definitely not be able to dominate the tour in 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Djokovic reached just one Grand Slam final, losing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/tennis-icon-claims-carlos-alcaraz-possesses-same-qualities-as-novak-djokovic-rafael-nadal-and-roger-federer\/\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> at Wimbledon, and suffered earlier-than-expected exits at the US Open and the French Open.<\/p>\n<p>However, despite having scepticism about the partnership with Murray, Ostrovsky does believe the Serb will claim another major before he retires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Djokovic will still take one major,&#8221; Ostrovsky said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHistorically, the Australian Open is Novak\u2019s favourite Grand Slam.
