Roy Keane has issued a warning to Marcus Rashford after the Manchester United star revealed that he is ready to leave his boyhood club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 27-year-old was omitted for Sunday\u2019s Manchester derby victory and then sent home from training with an illness on Monday.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday though he handed out presents at his old primary school and dropped the bombshell revelation in an interview with\u00a0Henry Winter.<\/a><\/p>\n

Rashford<\/a> said: \u201cFor me, personally, I think I\u2019m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it\u2019s going to be \u201cno hard feelings\u201d. You\u2019re not going to have any negative comments from me about\u00a0Manchester United<\/a>. That\u2019s me as a person.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Reports have linked with him an exit to a number of clubs<\/a>. The latest of which is Spanish side Atletico Madrid.<\/a><\/p>\n

Manchester United legend Keane has warned Rashford that wherever he plays his football,<\/a> he might not return to his best.<\/p>\n

Roy Keane Sends Warning To Marcus Rashford<\/h2>\n

Speaking on the Stick To Football<\/a> podcast from Sky Bet, Roy Keane said in response to Manchester United star Marcus Rashford’s interview: “I don\u2019t actually mind what he said, although it\u2019s a bit long, but it\u2019s spot on.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Sometimes a deal just works for everybody \u2013 it\u2019s been going on for a year or two now. There\u2019s obviously a bit of talent there and he\u2019s been at the club since he was a kid.<\/em><\/p>\n

“A change would probably do him a world of good, for him and his team and family to go abroad.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Roy<\/p>\n

“My only warning for players like that \u2013 he [Marcus Rashford] has all those traits as a footballer. If you lose that hunger, it\u2019s hard to get it back.<\/em><\/p>\n

“We know that for great players, it\u2019s nothing to do with money \u2013 it\u2019s about the next challenge and your pride.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Rashford’s Struggles at Manchester United<\/h3>\n

Marcus Rashford has made over 400 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 138 goals and winning five major trophies.<\/p>\n

He famously enjoyed a 30-goal season in the 2022-23 campaign for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Since then his form has dipped and this this campaign he has scored just four goals in 15 Premier League appearances.<\/p>\n

His place in the side under Ruben Amorim<\/a> is no longer guaranteed and Manchester United are slumped in the bottom half of the table.<\/p>\n
