UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier believes Conor McGregor should focus more on returning to the octagon in the UFC, rather than a proposed boxing exhibition fight with Jake Paul’s brother and WWE superstar Logan Paul.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Cormier Insists Conor McGregor Should Focus On Returning To The UFC Rather Than Logan Paul Boxing Exhibition<\/h2>\n

Just days ago, Conor McGregor broke the internet once again. This time it was after announcing on social media that he has agreed to fight Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition<\/a> contest in the New Year.<\/p>\n

The brother of Jake Paul<\/a>, Logan, is now a WWE superstar and athlete, who himself has dabbled in boxing before. He fought KSI twice, before having an exhibition with the great Floyd Mayweather and beating Dillon Danis last time out in a professional fight.<\/p>\n

Similarly, McGregor has had one boxing fight, his super-fight against Mayweather back in 2017. Now, it seems a boxing<\/a> exhibition between Paul and the Irishman could actually take place in 2025.<\/p>\n

‘Notorious’ has had his fair share of issues outside of combat sports of late, but has stated numerous times on social media that 2025 is the year we see his MMA return. UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier is one man who wants to see McGregor back in the UFC<\/a>, rather than competing in these exhibitions against YouTubers.<\/p>\n

It’s been over three years since his last UFC fight, but Cormier, a former two-weight UFC champion, believes Conor McGregor<\/a> should focus on returning to mixed martial arts instead of this different path he is going down against the likes of Logan and Jake Paul<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘DC’ feels that a return to the UFC and competition would restore some normality into his hectic life, helping him clean up his image and put recent issues behind him<\/a>. UFC President Dana White has also expressed his desire to see McGregor return to the octagon, but for now that doesn’t seem on the cards in the immediate future.<\/p>\n
