Jamie Carragher believes Marcus Rashford is not good enough for Arsenal amid reports linking the wantaway Manchester United star to the Gunners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashford in a recent interview with Henry Winter admitted he is ready for a new challenge after more than two decades with United.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old said: \u201cFor me, personally, I think I\u2019m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it\u2019s going to be \u201cno hard feelings\u201d. You\u2019re not going to have any negative comments from me about\u00a0Manchester United<\/a>. That\u2019s me as a person.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Interest in Rashford will be high<\/a> but potential stumbling blocks are his valuation and his wage demands.<\/p>\n

Rashford’s interview instantly sparked up rumours of moves to top clubs<\/a> including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n

However, Carragher dismissed talk of Rashford potentially moving to one of Europe’s top clubs.<\/a><\/p>\n

Carragher Dismisses Rashford’s Chances Of Joining Arsenal<\/h2>\n

Jamie Carragher, speaking on the Stick to Football<\/em> podcast<\/a> shut down any chance of Marcus Rashford joining Arsenal.<\/p>\n

The former Liverpool defender said: “I think it\u2019s time for him to move on but I\u2019ve seen things in the papers about Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG. It\u2019s Marcus Rashford\u2026 am I missing something? He can\u2019t get in the Manchester United team, he\u2019s not even in the England squad.”<\/p>\n

When asked if Rashford would improve Arsenal by Gary Neville, he replied: “Rashford? No! Oh my god, he had a four-month spell under Erik ten Hag when United were on fire. He\u2019s been a very good player for United and a very good Premier League player, but he\u2019s not [Mohamed] Salah, [Sadio] Mane or [Bukayo] Saka.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Rashford scored 30 goals in the 2022-23 season under former manager Ten Hag. However, since then his form has declined with just four Premier League goals this campaign.<\/p>\n

He is no longer a guaranteed starter under Ruben Amorim<\/a>, and reports had suggested that United might be willing to let Rashford leave.<\/p>\n

Clubs Linked With Rashford<\/h3>\n

Arsenal are one of a number of top sides<\/a> linked with Marcus Rashford since his admission over wanting to leave Manchester United.<\/p>\n

The Gunners haven’t been shy when it comes to signing players from their rival clubs. Danny Welbeck previously left United for Arsenal, while Kai Havertz has found his best form<\/a> since making the switch from Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Tottenham have been linked amid uncertainty over captain Son Heung-min who is a free agent next summer.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have all been linked, as well as Bayern Munich and PSG.<\/p>\n

Though Rashford would likely want to stay in Europe, top players have previously given into the lure of Saudi’s riches.<\/p>\n
