UFC icon and podcast host, Joe Rogan, has named his top three UFC fighters of all time and has not included Jon Jones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joe Rogan Names His Top Three UFC Fighters Of All Time<\/h2>\n

Back in 1997, Rogan began his spell as a leading voice for the Ultimate Fighting Championship<\/a>, interviewing fighters backstage before and after bouts.<\/p>\n

As time went by he began to establish himself as the main voice for the company, presenting the show and working as a commentator\/analyst.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old also has one of the most popular podcasts in the world and recently revealed his top three UFC fighters of all time.<\/p>\n

Rogan kicked off his list with a UFC legend, picking Anderson Silva as his favourite UFC fighter of all time – going against Dana White’s selection of Jon Jones.<\/p>\n

He said (Via JRE Podcast):\u00a0 \u201cYou gotta look at them in this window of time. And sometimes it\u2019s just a few years where they\u2019re accomplishing things in a way that it\u2019s extraordinary you go, \u2018I\u2019ve never seen anybody better\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n

“Anderson Silva, when he was in his prime, he was operating at a different speed than [his opponents]. He was processing things with like a 2024 computer, and they were using a Windows \u201995,\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Silva dominated the middleweight division for several years, beating the likes of Chael Sonnen, Forrest Griffin, and Yushin Okami – winning 16 consecutive fights.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the Brazilian MMA star was inducted into the Hall of Fame with a 34-11-1 record which was dampened during the end of his career with defeats to Chris Weidman, Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping.<\/p>\n

Rogan’s next pick was another huge name in the world of MMA, who has recently retired, as the UFC commentator picked Demetrious Johnson.<\/a><\/p>\n

Mighty Mouse was a dominant figure in the flyweight division, setting the record for the most consecutive title defences with 11.<\/p>\n

Rogan spoke about Mighty Mouse, saying: \u201cWhen he was in his prime, \u201cMighty Mouse\u201d was a m********** to watch. He would do s*** that no one could do. There\u2019s not a champion alive that can do that [suplex] the way \u201cMighty Mouse\u201d can do that. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Johnson fought Cejudo the first time, it was a masterclass. I maintain that he is the finest expression of martial arts I have ever seen.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Finally, the podcast host put Khabib Nurmagomedov in the final spot and third in his overall list of UFC fighters across the years.<\/p>\n

The Russian defeated the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje to become one of the most dominant fighters in the world – losing just a few rounds across his career.<\/p>\n

Rogsan said: \u201cThat\u2019s just how good Khabib was (on his wins over Poirier & Gaethje). He\u2019s so good. It\u2019s almost a tragedy that he never wants to fight again. <\/em><\/p>\n

He\u2019ll go out, without a doubt, as one of the greatest to ever do it. If not the best ever, he\u2019s definitely in the argument,\u201d Rogan said of Nurmagomedov.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

After ending his career with a record of 29-0 and Khabib now coaches the likes of Islam Makhachev, Belal Muhammad and Umar Nurmagomedov.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
