The 2024 Challow Hurdle runners are taking shape ahead of the big Newbury Grade One on Saturday 28th December – with a big head-to-head between the unbeaten pair – Regent’s Stroll and The New Lion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Challow Hurdle Runners Headed By Two Unbeaten Horses At Newbury<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Jonjo O’Neill-trained Bill Joyce, who impressed at Sandown last time out, is certainly no back number and the yard have won this three times this century.<\/p>\n

However, the bulk of the Challow Hurdle market with the best horse racing betting sites in the UK<\/a> will be with Regent’s Stroll<\/strong> for Paul Nicholls and Dan Skelton’s The New Lion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both have big reputations and come here unbeaten, plus the pair caught the eye with separate wins here at Newbury in their last races.<\/p>\n

The New Lion is 2-from-2 over hurdles and impressed many with an easy 3 length win at Newbury at the end of November.<\/p>\n

While a day earlier at the same track Regent’s Stroll, who is part-owned by Sir Alex Ferguson, survived a blunder to win on his hurdles debut – beating Good And Clever by 9 1\/2 lengths (watch below).<\/p>\n
