The German tennis ace recently hit the headlines after his partner made some glaring admissions about the world No 2&#8217;s peculiar sleeping habits.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Who Is Alexander Zverev&#8217;s Girlfriend?<\/h2>\n<p>Star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/tennis\/\">tennis<\/a> player Alexander Zverev&#8217;s girlfriend is German actress, model and television presenter Sophia Thomalla. The pair have reportedly been dating since 2021, meeting through a mutual friend the year previous.<\/p>\n<p>Thomalla is a celebrity in her own right having made her breakthrough in a TV programme in 2006. Aged just 17-years-old at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Both of her parents are actors and naturally, encouraged Thomalla to follow in the footsteps. In the late 2000&#8217;s and early 2010&#8217;s, Thomalla&#8217;s popularity increased when she appeared on Germany&#8217;s <em>Next Top Model.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the now 35-year-old has been photographed in <em>Playboy<\/em> and was voted as <em>FHM<\/em>&#8216;s third sexiest women in the world. Currently, she has 1.4 million followers on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sophiathomalla\/?hl=en\">Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thomalla has appeared in a number of films, TV shows and continued to model for several famous publications. She also advertises cosmetic products and did so for <em>Lidl<\/em> back in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Thomalla is often by Zverev&#8217;s side when he travels around the world to compete in various tennis tournaments. The 27-year-old will be hoping to make a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Rest and sleep will be vital for Zverev and it&#8217;s his period of recuperation that brought about some hilarious comments from his model girlfriend on Thursday (January 2).<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Every evening, before he goes to bed, he goes to the toilet three times, and then back to bed, back and forth like that<\/em>,<em>&#8220;<\/em> Thomalla told <em>RTL<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>I get the urge to cry every night and think to myself: now just come to bed<\/em>,&#8221; she concluded. We wonder what Zverev will make of his partner&#8217;s comments!<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Thomalla used to date former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/liverpool-2024-25-fixtures-for-premier-league-champions-league-fa-cup-league-cup\/\">Liverpool<\/a> and Newcastle United goalkeeper Lorius Karius. The pair coupled up for two years before going their separate ways in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, Thomalla was married to Norwegian singer Andy LaPlegua before divorcing in 2017.
