Liam Delap continued his fine start to the season after he scored his first goal of the New Year on Sunday afternoon.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 21-year-old rattled home a second-half penalty as Ipswich Town and Fulham played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.<\/p>\n

That point was so very nearly three for the Tractor Boys who were pegged back by Raul Jimenez’s late spot-kick. Amazingly, three penalties were given in west London.<\/p>\n

Jimenez’s first also came from 12 yards. Sammie Szmodics gave Kieran McKenna’s side the lead when he fired home after 38 minutes.<\/p>\n

However, it was Delap’s effort that saw his stock continue to rise. No English striker has scored more Premier League<\/a> goals in 2024\/25 than the former Manchester City star.<\/p>\n
