Beating the goalkeeper from the penalty spot has also proven to be a challenge, as only three players in Premier League history have a 100% conversion rate stretching beyond 10 penalties. Explore who they are as we check out the five players with the best 100% penalty records in the history of the English top flight.<\/p>\n

#5 Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford): 8 Penalties*<\/h2>\n

Having scored eight consecutive penalties for Brentford in the Premier League, Bryan Mbeumo has claimed the fifth spot in the rankings. The 25-year-old left-winger scored his last penalty on 4th January, helping the Bees to an emphatic 5-0 victory over Southampton. So far, he has scored 35 goals for Brentford in 118 Premier League outings.<\/p>\n

Since joining Brentford from French side Troyes in August 2019, Mbeumo has played 223 games in all competitions (including the Championship), finding the back of the net 63 times.<\/p>\n

#4 Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Fulham): 9 Penalties<\/h2>\n

Former Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United<\/a>, and Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov took nine penalties in the Premier League, dispatching every single one of them. He scored one penalty for Spurs, two for United, and the remaining six for Fulham. Berbatov’s final penalty came for Fulham in a 4-1 defeat to Everton in December 2013.<\/p>\n

Berbatov, one of the most flamboyant forwards in Premier League history, played 229 games in the English top flight, scoring 94 times. The Bulgarian won the title two times during his four-year stint with Manchester United.<\/p>\n

#3 Raul Jimenez (Wolves and Fulham): 10 Penalties*<\/h2>\n

Raul Jimenez, who is making headlines at Fulham<\/a> after a successful five-year run at Wolverhampton Wanderers, has converted all the 10 penalties he has taken in the Premier League so far. The Mexican scored seven penalties for Wolverhampton and has netted three so far for Fulham.<\/p>\n

Jimenez scored two fine penalties in Fulham’s Premier League clash with Ipswich Town on 5th January, securing a 2-2 draw for the Cottagers.<\/p>\n

Between Wolverhampton and Fulham, Jimenez has played 179 league games, scoring 55 times.<\/p>\n

#2 Yaya Toure (Manchester City): 11 Penalties<\/h2>\n

The only non-attacker on this list, former Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure had a 100% penalty record for Manchester City in the Premier League, with him finding the back of the net an impressive 11 times. Toure’s last spot kick came against West Ham United in February 2017. His strike helped Man City secure a 4-0 victory over the Hammers.<\/p>\n

Toure played 230 matches for Man City in the league, scoring 62 goals and providing 32 assists. He won the title three times over the course of his career.<\/p>\n

#1 Cole Palmer (Chelsea): 12 Penalties*<\/h2>\n

At the summit sits Chelsea poster boy Cole Palmer, with the England international putting away all 12 penalties he has taken in the Premier League so far. The former Manchester City<\/a> man scored two penalties in Chelsea’s 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on 8th December 2024.<\/p>\n

Between Manchester City and Chelsea, Palmer has played 72 games in the Premier League, scoring 35 goals and providing 18 assists.
