It was a dream tie for Accrignton Stanley, who travelled to Anfield for the first time since their reformation in the mid-1960s.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have safely booked their place into the fourth round of the FA Cup<\/a> with a dominant 4-0 win.<\/p>\n

16-year-old Rio Ngumoha started the game and made a promising impression, but it was Diogo Jota that broke the deadlock after half an hour following a quick counterattack set up by Darwin Nunez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Reds then doubled their advantage on the stroke of halftime through a stunning strike by Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Accrington forced early pressure in the second half and could have grabbed a goal back when Josh Woods’ shot hit the crossbar, before Ben Woods missed a wonderful chance from a corner.<\/p>\n

The away side were made to pay as substitute Jayden Danns added a third for Liverpool before Federico Chiesa, who had hit the post and gone close on two other occasions, finally scored in injury time.<\/p>\n
