Arman Tsarukyan Record<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Arman Tsarukyan turned professional back in September 2015, making a winning start to his MMA career Russia. Since then, ‘Akhalkalakets’ has had another 24 professional MMA fights, winning all but three of them.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan’s career has been nothing short of magnificent to date. The Armenian MMA star is the #1 contender at lightweight in the UFC<\/a> right now, and has the chance of becoming champion of the 155-pound division in the near future.<\/p>\n

Arman Tsarukyan’s record proves just how good a fighter he is, with some emphatic victories and notable wins throughout his UFC tenure. His career up to now has been sensational, and it could only be getting started. At just 28-years-old, Tsarukyan could dominate at 155-pounds for years to come.<\/p>\n

As previously mentioned, Arman Tsarukyan made his professional MMA debut around a decade ago now. He won his debut before losing his second MMA fight, but then went on a 12 fight winning run which got his his first UFC contract.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan then signing a deal with Dana White<\/a> and the UFC and made his debut in the organisation in April 2019. As far as debuts go, the Armenian was handed a baptism of fire, being throw straight in with one of the hottest prospects on the entire UFC roster.<\/p>\n

The Arman Tsarukyan UFC Record Solidifies Him As #1 Lightweight Contender<\/h3>\n

On his debut in the UFC, ‘Akhalkalakets’ was thrown right in at the deep end for sure. He was put in against Islam Makhachev<\/a> – who is now of course the dominant lightweight king and #1 ranked pound-for-pound UFC<\/a> fighter on the planet right now.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan went into the fight as a huge underdog with the best UFC betting sites<\/a>, and was defeated via decision by his Dagestani counterpart. However, the Armenian impressed even in defeat, as well as putting fans on notice that he is a real threat at 155-pounds.<\/p>\n

After the Islam Makhachev<\/a> defeat, Arman Tsarukyan bounced back in style. The 1996-born MMA fighter won five straight fights, including two via knockout. This included wins over the likes of Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Davi Ramos, Matt Frevola, Christos Giagos and Joel Alvarez.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan beat Damir Ismagulov via decision to get back to winning ways, before knocking out Joaquim Silva next. Arman Tsarukyan’s Fight Record Consists Of Nine UFC Wins In 11 Fights<\/h3>\n

Tsarukyan was then handed a huge fight on the incredible UFC 300 card. ‘Akhalkalakets’ was thrown in against former lightweight king Charles Oliveira<\/a>, in a fight that would determine the next challenger to Islam Makhachev<\/a> and the UFC Lightweight Title.<\/p>\n

The fight was another extremely close one, but this time it went the way of the Armenian. Tsarukyan outpointed ‘Do Bronx’ over three rounds via split decision, earning his maiden shot at UFC gold in his next fight. This was scheduled for UFC 311 against Islam Makhachev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Tsarukyan was forced to pull out of the fight with Makhachev due to injury just 24 hours before the scheduled bout. After he heals and returns from injury, it is likely we’ll see Arman Tsarukyan get his shot at the 155-pound belt once and for all.<\/p>\n
