Bayern Munich<\/a> have work to do if they are to avoid the rigmarole of a two-legged play-off tie to make the last-16 of the Champions League.<\/a><\/p>\n

Vincent Kompany’s side are one point adrift of the automatic qualification spots after defeats to Aston Villa<\/a> and Barcelona.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, they have responded to this with three straight wins over Shakhtar, Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n

They play a Feyenoord side who themselves have a lot to fight for in the remaining two games of the Champions League campaign.<\/p>\n

\"Bayern<\/p>\n

The Dutch side are 18th in the standings – just three points behind the top-eight but only three points away from slipping out of the competition altogether.<\/p>\n

Feyenoord hold victories over Girona, Benfica and Sparta Prague and also produced a memorable comeback to earn a 3-3 draw against Manchester City.<\/a> However, they have also suffered defeats to Bayer Leverkusen and Red Bull Salzburg.<\/p>\n

The match promises to be a goal-fest given that games including Feyenoord have seen more goals in their games than any of the other 35 teams involved.<\/p>\n

The Eredivisie side have struck 14 goals while letting in an additional 15. No Champions League match involving them has ended with fewer than four goals being scored.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich have been boosted by the news that Joao Palhinha has returned to training though a comeback is unrealistic. Sacha Boey, Tarek Buchmann, Hiroki Ito and Daniel Peretz are also unavailable.<\/p>\n

Harry Kane could play his 50th game in the Champions League on Wednesday. He could also become the third English player to score in their half-century match after Wayne Rooney and Phil Foden.<\/p>\n

Jamal Musiala could come back in for Kingsley Coman. The team otherwise is expected to be the same that played Wolfsburg.<\/p>\n

Feyenoord have issues in midfield going into the game with Ramiz Zerrouki, Quinten Timber and Hwang In-beom all potentially on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

Jordon Lotomba, Bart Nieuwkoop, Chris-Kevin Nadje are also on the sidelines.<\/p>\n
