Gary Neville has hit out at Chelsea star Cole Palmer for engaging in a light-hearted conversation with former manager Pep Guardiola after the Blues\u2019 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The former Manchester United<\/a> defender believes Palmer\u2019s actions were inappropriate given Chelsea\u2019s poor performance and the disappointment of their travelling fans.<\/p>\n

Palmer\u2019s Off Day Against Man City<\/h3>\n

Palmer, who has been a standout performer for Chelsea since joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2023, struggled to make an impact during the Premier League clash.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old was largely anonymous in the second half as City took control of the match and sealed the victory.<\/p>\n

Despite Chelsea\u2019s heavy defeat, Palmer was seen sharing a jovial chat with Guardiola on the pitch at full-time, which did not sit well with Neville.<\/p>\n
