FPL Gameweek 24 Tips: How Many Everton Players Is Too Many?<\/h2>\n

The first Double Gameweek in FPL<\/a> always comes with a lot of excitement, and for many, stacking up on as many doublers as possible is the primary aim. However, we have to assess the quality of these options before we dive in.<\/p>\n

With Liverpool<\/a> and Everton being the only teams that double this week (and likely no other doubles until Gameweek 33), triple Liverpool feels sensible. But should we do the same for the Toffees? In brief, no we shouldn\u2019t, and here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n

Everton have won back-to-back games under David Moyes<\/a>, and their defensive players are now legit options.<\/p>\n

Vitalii Mykolenko is cheap, playing wing back, and you can hide him on your bench in difficult games as your fourth or fifth defender. The Toffees have a good chance of keeping one clean sheet in the double, and the Ukrainian is the best value pick of the back line. He also performs well in the bonus points system, so if and when Everton do keep a clean sheet, you can expect some additional points too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Jordan Pickford offers a higher ceiling than the defenders because even in difficult games where he concedes, he can return through picking up save points.<\/p>\n

Many still own a Mark Flekken, Matz Sels or Robert S\u00e1nchez, and with the extra fixture on the horizon, the England Number 1 is arguably the best of the bunch.<\/p>\n

Many will look to Wildcard in Gameweek 30, so it must be remembered that by recruiting a new goalkeeper now, you\u2019re not committing for the entire second half of the season, and for many it\u2019s only a seven -gameweek run.<\/p>\n

Everton attacking players are a little more difficult to justify because I see them as a transfer out waiting to happen.<\/p>\n

The likes of Abdoulaye Doucour\u00e9 and Iliman Ndiaye are my two favourite options, but with some trickier fixtures for Everton after the double and better options elsewhere at similar price points at clubs like Bournemouth<\/a> and Brentford, I prefer the idea of saving transfers to recruit from these two clubs when buying cheaper attackers at the moment.<\/p>\n

The Toffees under Moyes have looked better than what we saw from Dyche ball, but they\u2019re still far from a free-flowing, well-functioning attack that looks like it will score two\/three goals a game, and because of that, I am very happy swerving their attackers and concentrating on recruiting a defensive asset or two for the double.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
