Luke Littler has insisted that he won’t be playing darts until he is 50, silencing any talk of him competing into his latter years with his latest retirement hint.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke Littler Drops Huge Retirement Hint<\/h2>\n

It’s fair to say that Luke Littler<\/a> is the face of darts right now. After making history in January becoming the youngest player in history to win the World Darts Championship<\/a> at just 17-years-old, ‘The Nuke’ could be the face of darts for decades to come.<\/p>\n

Littler has since turned 18, but remain number two in the PDC Order of Merit<\/a> as well as being the reigning World and Premier League champion. Despite having all of this glory since bursting onto the scene a little over a year ago, the Warrington man insists he won’t be around for ever.<\/p>\n

Littler has in fact silenced any talk of him playing darts<\/a> professional well into his latter years, after revealing that he has a retirement plan in place already. ‘The Nuke’ was vague about his retirement plan, but it seems he doesn’t want to be playing darts forever.<\/p>\n

There has been a lot of talk comparing Littler to the great Phil Taylor, who retired when he was 57-years-old. Taylor of course won 16 world titles, with some fans thinking Littler can eclipse that number given how young he is and how many years he could have left in the sport.<\/p>\n

However, Luke Littler<\/a> himself has revealed that he has no desire whatsoever to match ‘The Power’ in world title numbers or age. In fact, the 18-year-old has gone as far as saying that he will stop playing as soon as he loses motivation to succeed.<\/p>\n
