Abdul Rehman (FPL Salah) is back with his FPL tips for DOUBLE Gameweek 25 as he highlights the best Aston Villa players to have as they face both Ipswich and Liverpool at home.

During the FA Cup break FPL Salah<\/a> has been fine-tuning his Fantasy Premier League<\/a> fancies as managers ready themselves for Gameweek 25 – which features another double offering. Meaning there are plenty of bonus points up for grabs if you can box-clever in the transfer market.<\/p>\n

FPL_Salah Lifts The Lid On His Double Gameweek 25 FPL Tips\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Salah will be presenting his FPL tips that include who the best Aston Villa assets<\/strong> are for Double Gameweek 25.<\/p>\n

Double Gameweek 25 FPL Tips<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Liverpool and Aston Villa have a double gameweek this week.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot\u2019s team take on Wolves (H) and Villa (A) and Unai Emery\u2019s side play Ipswich (H) and Liverpool (H).<\/p>\n

Ipswich have conceded 47 goals (fourth-most) and also have the second worst xGC (expected goals conceded; 46.3) in the league so this is the money game.<\/p>\n

Liverpool is as tough as they come, however they are more than good enough to score against Slot\u2019s team, and they do have the home advantage.<\/p>\n

Most FPL managers will already have three Liverpool players for Gameweek 25 as they had a double in Gameweek 24, but Villa\u2019s options are a bit trickier to pick right now.<\/p>\n

Morgan Rogers (\u00a35.4m)<\/strong> \u2013 Aston Villa Morgan Rogers has had a good season scoring six goals and five assists.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At the moment he is looking like the most reliable and best option, mainly due to injuries to his teammates.<\/p>\n

He has been great value for his price and should be easy enough to acquire for most teams.<\/p>\n

Only teammate Watkins has more goals than him in the team and with a 34% Goal Involvement so far, he is a fine asset.<\/p>\n

This is a good double for Villa in terms attack and they should be good for a few goals. Rogers’ expected minutes look great just now also.<\/p>\n

He should be nailed to start both games and will likely get plenty of playing time also. He is at a healthy 37% to score at anytime over the two games and of course has the assist threat too.<\/p>\n

Ollie Watkins (\u00a38.9m) \u2013 Aston Villa<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Everton<\/p>\n

If Watkins was fully fit, then it would be a no brainer to buy him this week.<\/p>\n

However, he was taken off at half-time against Wolves in Gameweek 24 and missed out against Spurs in the FA Cup 4th round on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Emery did say he is hopeful that the England international will train this week – however, Watkins hasn\u2019t been as reliable this season mostly due to his minutes.<\/p>\n

Jhon Duran did begin to take some starts off him but with his move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, Watkins should be nailed again when fully fit with an overall boost to his expected minutes.<\/p>\n

Watkins is an all round forward with both goals and assists in his locker and he is at 68% to score at least one over the two games.<\/p>\n

He has 10 goals and five assists this season. If we get news that he has trained this week and the update from Emery is positive, then I think the Villa forward is still worth including.<\/p>\n

However, if there is any sort of doubt around his fitness or minutes, then it’s totally fine to go without.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa new signings Marcus Rashford (\u00a36.6m) and Marco Asensio (\u00a36.0m) might be good options in the near future but I feel it’s a bit too risky to buy them so soon.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know if they will go straight into the first XI or how their minutes will look.<\/p>\n

If Watkins is out for a period of time, then Donyell Malen (\u00a35.5m)<\/strong> might be the one to go for.<\/p>\n

He played up top against Spurs on Sunday so might continue that role until Watkins is back.<\/p>\n

The Dutch international is also classified as a midfielder in FPL.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Going for a Villa defender is tricky as the only nailed one was Ezri Konsa (\u00a34.4m) who came off injured on Sunday against Spurs in the FA Cup.<\/p>\n

Matty Cash (\u00a34.4m), Pau Torres (\u00a34.2m) and Tyrone Mings (\u00a34.4m) are all injured and Lucas Digne (\u00a34.6m) has Ian Maatsen (\u00a34.5m) as competition on the left.<\/p>\n

New signing Axel Disasi (\u00a34.2m)<\/strong> could be a shrewd pick and will surely come straight in the starting XI with all the injuries.<\/p>\n

The safest defensive option currently is goalkeeper Emiliano Mart\u00ednez (\u00a35.0m) who is nailed to start so if your team allows, then he is probably the best third option.<\/p>\n

Be wary if you are going for him or any other Villa assets though as they do blank in Gameweek 29.<\/p>\n

Make sure you aren’t leaving yourself short for the blank if you don’t plan to play your Free Hit chip then.<\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I don\u2019t think it’s imperative at all that we have three Villa players for Double Gameweek 25.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have any Villa players then Rogers<\/strong> would be my first port of call and the second or third will depend on the fitness of others and also how your team is shaped up in terms of structure and free transfers.<\/p>\n

If Watkins is fit, then he’s the second best option, if not, then the best option will depend on how your team is set up and how many free transfers you have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
