Pras returns with his latest set of FPL tips for Double Gameweek 25, revealing which players you should buy, hold and sell\/avoid ahead of the upcoming round of fixtures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Pras, and welcome to my weekly series for SportsCasting<\/em><\/a>, where I will be providing my thoughts on my FPL tips. For context, over the last 12 seasons of FPL, I have achieved four top 10k finishes, including two top 5k finishes. My seasonal average over the last seven seasons is around 21k. I am currently ranked 11k.<\/p>\n

Every week, I\u2019ll be giving you advice on whether to buy\/hold or sell the key defenders, midfielders and attackers in FPL<\/a>. As a fixtures guy, my advice will always have a lens of immediate fixtures but also long-term viability and implications.<\/p>\n

FPL Gameweek 25 Tips: Who To Buy, Hold and Sell\/Avoid<\/h2>\n

Defenders<\/h3>\n

Buy<\/strong> \u2013 We are getting into the time in FPL when transfer decisions are highly dependent on chip strategy. There seems to be an even split between those on free hit in the blank Gameweek 29 and those who will go without it. I think those on free hit should consider Daniel Munoz, who has great fixtures leading up to and after GW29. For those who are looking to save the free hit, Milos Kerkez looks like a shrewd buy. He plays Southampton this week, who are the division\u2019s lowest scorers this season, and then has a string of good fixtures in the next six gameweeks. He has played 90 minutes in each of the last 12 gameweeks and delivered a goal and an assist in the last five.<\/p>\n

Hold<\/strong> \u2013 There were fears going into the Everton game that Trent Alexander-Arnold might be missing out for a while. His appearance for the last 30 minutes and the shaky performance from Connor Bradley mean he\u2019s a firm hold for me. Likely he plays Wolves and then also has the game against Southampton in the not-so-distant future.<\/p>\n

Sell\/Avoid<\/strong> \u2013 With one clean sheet in the last five league games, Newcastle’s defence has been a bit hit and miss. I think for now, it’s time to sell as they face Man City, Nottingham Forest, Arsenal<\/a> and a blank in the next five.<\/p>\n

Midfielders<\/h3>\n

Buy<\/strong> \u2013 Morgan Rogers has started every league match he\u2019s been available for this season and is coming in off the back of four goals and an assist in the last three matches. Just a shame that all those returns came in cup competitions. It\u2019s close between buying him or a Bournemouth midfielder like Dango Ouatarra or Justin Kluivert. People with the luxury of extra transfers can easily buy Rogers and shift him on later. For the rest, going straight to a Bournemouth midfielder makes good sense, in my opinion.<\/p>\n

Hold<\/strong> \u2013 I can\u2019t believe I\u2019d ever have to write this, but don\u2019t sell Cole Palmer<\/a>. I can see a steady flow of transfers out given just one return in the last three games, but for me, he is essential to hold given all the routes to points and haul potential he brings. If that wasn\u2019t enough, he plays Leicester and Southampton in GW27 and GW28!<\/p>\n

Sell\/Avoid<\/strong> \u2013 There aren\u2019t many clear sells this week in the midfield spot. Anthony Gordon feels like a hold for another week. Bryan Mbeumo should be going nowhere. I guess owners of Gabriel Martinelli can count themselves very unlucky that he picked up an injury right before they play Leicester. On the plus side, at least there are plenty of alternative options to go to.<\/p>\n

Forwards<\/h3>\n

Buy<\/strong> \u2013 If Ollie Watkins can shake off the muscle injury he sustained in Gameweek 24, he is a great buy, despite the upcoming blank in GW29. The next three league games are all at home, and with a double gameweek involving Ipswich, it may be a serious temptation for many \u2013 if they can afford it.<\/p>\n

Hold<\/strong> \u2013 It may be tempting to look at Alexander Isak\u2019s fixture vs Man City<\/a> and think about selling. The Sweden international is averaging a goal every 82.9 minutes on the road this season, only marginally behind Mohamed Salah. Despite the trickier fixtures and a blank in GW29 \u2013 I\u2019d be keen to hold Isak for now.<\/p>\n

Sell\/Avoid<\/strong> \u2013 Joao Pedro seems to have lost his place in the starting lineup in the FA Cup<\/a> match against Chelsea. Brighton put up a solid performance in upsetting the Londoners and now face the same team on Friday in GW25. I\u2019d be very surprised if the lineup isn\u2019t unchanged (unless enforced due to injury). If I had the luxury of free transfers, I\u2019d be shipping out Joao Pedro soon.<\/p>\n
