Goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah put the Reds in control, but a late strike from Matheus Cunha made for a nervy ending as Wolves piled on the pressure.<\/p>\n

Liverpool started strong, breaking the deadlock just 15 minutes into the match. Diogo Jota, making his first league start since October, set up Luis Diaz, who converted with a clever finish to net his first Anfield league goal since September.<\/p>\n

Salah doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Jose Sa fouled Diaz, marking his 29th goal of the season and his 23rd in the Premier League<\/a>\u2014matching his second-best season tally.<\/p>\n

However, Wolves found a way back in the second half when Matheus Cunha curled a superb 25-yard strike past Alisson Becker, reducing the deficit and setting up a tense final 25 minutes.<\/p>\n
