Dates, Drivers, Circuit And How To Watch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 2025 F1 season gets underway next month but fans don&#8217;t have to wait long to see all the drivers in action during pre-season testing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many reasons why this season could be one of the most exciting in the sport&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis Hamilton will go for his record-eighth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/formula-1\/\">Formula One<\/a> drivers&#8217; championship in the red of Ferrari after making the switch from Mercedes.<\/p>\n<p>Max Verstappen will look to become the first driver in history to win five championships on the bounce. However, the likes of Hamilton, Lando Norris, George Russell, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri will look to stop him in his tracks.<\/p>\n<p>There are also a host of rookie drivers on the grid &#8211; including Hamilton&#8217;s replacement at Mercedes in Andrea Kimi Antonelli.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s everything you need to know about F1 pre-season testing ahead of a record 24-race calendar.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">All 20 drivers. The class of Formula 1 in 2025 \ud83e\udd29<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/F175LIVE?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#F175LIVE<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/slZnmLR3z1\">pic.twitter.com\/slZnmLR3z1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Formula 1 (@F1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/F1\/status\/1891972775276867607?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 18, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>When Is F1 Pre-Season Testing?<\/h2>\n<p>The official pre-season test ahead of the F1 season takes place between Wednesday, February 26 and Friday, February 28.<\/p>\n<p>This means that there are only three days for teams to fine-tune their cars before they head to Australia for the opening race of the season next month.<\/p>\n<p>Testing hours have reduced significantly for pre-season over the years in F1. This year, teams will have 24 hours where drivers can take the cars out onto the track.<\/p>\n<p>The track will be open for eight hours per day, starting at 7am (GMT) and ending at 4pm (GMT).<\/p>\n<p>Teams can decide whether to give a driver a whole day&#8217;s worth of running or split the morning and afternoon sessions up between their pair.<\/p>\n<p>Each driver will get 12 hours in the car over the three days.
