Chelsea\u2019s ongoing struggles between the posts have led to calls for the club to sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ex-Blues defender Jason Cundy believes Ramsdale could be the solution to Chelsea’s ‘massive problem\u2019 in goal.<\/p>\n

The Blues have yet to find a reliable No. 1 despite multiple investments in the position.<\/p>\n

Robert Sanchez started the season but was dropped after costly errors, while Filip Jorgensen has also struggled, most recently making a critical mistake in Chelsea\u2019s 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jason Cundy: \u201cRamsdale Would Be an Improvement\u201d<\/h2>\n

Cundy thinks Ramsdale would be a clear upgrade on Chelsea’s current options.<\/p>\n

Ramsdale made nearly 100 appearances for Arsenal before losing his spot to David Raya and joining Southampton in search of regular playing time.<\/p>\n

However, his move has not gone as planned, with the Saints sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table.<\/p>\n

Cundy believes that Ramsdale may be available in the summer, especially if Southampton are relegated.<\/p>\n

“The goalkeeper position has been a massive problem for Chelsea,” Cundy said on talkSPORT<\/em>. “Jorgensen dropped an absolute dolly against Aston Villa. That cost us at least a point.<\/p>\n

“I would definitely take Ramsdale \u2013 he\u2019s an improvement.”<\/p>\n
