Josh Taylor Next Fight: ‘The Tartan Tornado’ Makes Welterweight Bow vs Ekow Essuman<\/h2>\n

Josh Taylor is most definitely one of the most popular and well known fighters in British boxing<\/a> today. He is the former undisputed super-lightweight world champion, and now aims to become a two-weight king after announcing he will officially move up to welterweight going forward.<\/p>\n

‘The Tartan Tornado’ has beaten almost everyone put in front of him in his career, bar Jack Catterall<\/a> and Teofimo Lopez. Now, Taylor is putting those defeats behind him as he aims to get back to winning ways in his next fight up at 147-pounds.<\/p>\n

Josh Taylor’s record now stands at 19-2 with 13 KO’s. His record is almightily impressive, having won every single belt available at 140-pounds, becoming the undisputed king of the super-lightweight division in just four fights.<\/p>\n

In regards to the Josh Taylor next fight, it has been confirmed that the 34-year-old will face fellow Brit Ekow Essuman in his welterweight debut on May 24th in Glasgow.<\/p>\n
