Luke Littler produced a nine-darter in Players Championship 5 on Tuesday afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Littler’s moment of perfection came just hours after Gary Anderson hit one of his own in the first round.<\/p>\n

Luke Littler Hits 9-Darter at Players Championship 5<\/h2>\n

Littler<\/a> produced a moment of magic at Players Championship 5 in Leicester, hitting a stunning nine-dart finish in his first-round clash against Adam Hunt.<\/p>\n

After coming close at the Belgian Darts Open over the weekend, \u2018The Nuke\u2019 finally found perfection, firing in 180, 180, and a 141 checkout to break throw and move 4-2 ahead.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t all smooth sailing for Littler though, as he was forced into a deciding-leg encounter. The 18-year-old was immediately broken back following the nine, but he regained composure to seal a narrow 6-5 victory.<\/p>\n

Gary Anderson Also Hits 9-Darter<\/h2>\n

Littler’s effort was actually the second nine-darter of the day, following Gary Anderson\u2019s earlier perfect leg against Ryan Joyce.<\/p>\n

Anderson\u2019s perfect leg arrived in the tenth leg of his match while trailing 4-5. He fired in back-to-back 180s before sealing the nine-darter with a clinical 141 checkout.<\/p>\n

The two-time world champion then carried his momentum forward, winning the match in a deciding leg with a composed 16-dart finish, securing a 6-5 victory.<\/p>\n

This latest nine-darter marked the eighth of Anderson\u2019s illustrious PDC career.<\/p>\n
