Rio Ferdinand Warns Manchester United Not To Sign \u00a363m-Rated Target"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Rio Ferdinand has warned Man United and Arsenal not to sign Viktor Gyokeres, claiming he can\u2019t make the step up to the Premier League.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Rio Ferdinand Warns Man United To Stay Away From Viktor Gyokeres<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Gyokeres is one of the hottest prospects in the world right now due to his fierce ability to find the back of the net.<\/p>\n<p>With over 80 goals in 90 games for his current club Sporting Lisbon, it is clear to see why both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/top-10-worst-manchester-united-signings-in-post-sir-alex-ferguson-era\/\">Manchester United<\/a> and Arsenal are eyeing up the Swede.<\/p>\n<p>One key factor to take away is that Gyokeres worked previously with current Man United manager Ruben Amorim in their days together at Sporting.<\/p>\n<p>It has been well documented since Amorim took over at United that their need for a clinical striker has escalated rapidly.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Amorim\u2019s Tactical Changes At Manchester United | Arteta&#039;s Attackers Dilemma\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/htV9vpUph6g?start=398&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>However, Ferdinand is adamant that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/ruben-amorim-manchester-united-viktor-gyokeres-january\/\">Viktor Gyokeres<\/a> is \u201cnot the guy\u201d for either Arsenal or Manchester United and has urged both clubs not to make a move for the Swedish international.<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand took to his YouTube channel this week and boldly claimed that: \u201cI don&#8217;t think he\u2019s the guy.\u00a0I\u2019ve not watched him loads but I\u2019ve probably watched him three times really, really closely.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThree times I\u2019ve watched him and I\u2019ve gone, \u2018he ain\u2019t getting those opportunities in the Premier League\u2019. When I see him physically matched, I don\u2019t see it. What else is there?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand claims that Gyokeres can get goals no doubt, but when matched up physically, especially in the Premier League, the Man United legend believes there\u2019s not much more to offer.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Is Gyokeres The Man To Fire Arsenal To A Premier League Title?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>After back to back seasons chasing their first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/chris-sutton-manchester-united-trouble-arsenal-premier-league\/\">Premier League<\/a> title in over 20 years, Arsenal looked set to be the closest challenger once again this season.<\/p>\n<p>However, with Arsenal finding themselves 15 points behind leaders Liverpool, it has left fans of Arsenal with huge concern regarding the lack of firepower in the front line.<\/p>\n<p>If Arsenal look set to make amends next season, there&#8217;s no doubt they need to find a lethal striker to take them to that next level.
