Manchester United youngster Ayden Heaven suffered a concerning injury during his first Premier League start against Leicester City.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 18-year-old, who recently made the switch from Arsenal<\/a> to United, was stretchered off after a heavy collision in the second half of the game at the King Power Stadium.<\/p>\n

How Ayden Heaven\u2019s Injury Happened<\/h2>\n

Heaven was handed his first league start by manager Ruben Amorim against Leicester<\/a>, following a series of impressive performances off the bench.<\/p>\n

Early in the second half, Heaven stretched to block a dangerous cross from Jamie Vardy, preventing Patson Daka from a clear scoring opportunity.<\/p>\n

While his efforts were acknowledged by goalkeeper Andre Onana, the situation quickly turned serious as Heaven remained down on the pitch.<\/p>\n

The teenager immediately signalled for medical attention, prompting United\u2019s medical team to rush onto the field. After a lengthy five-minute assessment, he was stretchered off and replaced by Toby Collyer.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim’s Ayden Heaven Injury Update<\/h2>\n

Following the match, Manchester United<\/a> boss Ruben Amorim addressed the injury concerns surrounding Heaven but admitted that more evaluations are needed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to know because we have to evaluate during the week,\u201d Amorim said. \u201cEven when he was on the ground, he could not speak and couldn\u2019t explain what he was feeling because he\u2019s so young.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Amorim refrained from speculating on the severity of the injury, United\u2019s medical team are expected to conduct further tests in the coming days.<\/p>\n
