Tyrone Mings is set to take on a dual role alongside his Aston Villa duties in the future, with the Premier League star landing a role helping to organise Euro 2028.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

New pastures for Tyrone Mings<\/h2>\n

Although he hasn’t yet called time on his career, Tyrone Mings is already looking to the future with the Aston Villa defender planning to take on a new role for the Euro 2028 tournament.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old has been identified as a good fit for the board of directors however the team is yet to be selected, with the final decision coming next week.<\/p>\n

The Euros will be hosted by England in June 2028 with various stadiums used up and down the country including Villa and Mings’ home stadium Villa Park.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that although Mings would accept a role as event organiser, the defender doesn’t plan to call it quits on his Premier League<\/a> career which will supposedly work alongside his new project.<\/p>\n

Even though the Euros aren’t until 2028, if Mings does secure the role then he will have to work alongside UEFA to help organise the tournament during the next three years.<\/p>\n

When the tournament does eventually roll round Mings will be 35-years-old and even if he is still playing for Villa then, it is smart of the England<\/a> international to look to the future.<\/p>\n

The former Ipswich Town and Bournemouth player does have other exploits outside of football already and Mings was once named on Forbes\u2019 \u201830 Under 30\u2019 for recognition of his own interior design company and various charity projects.<\/p>\n

Will Mings play for England again?<\/h3>\n

Tyrone Mings has earned some England caps through his career, but injuries have constantly halted the defender’s progress on the international stage.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of this season Mings looked set for another call to the England ranks, but a severe ACL injury prevented the defender from ever getting near the squad.<\/p>\n
