Az from FPL Blackbox is back with his FPL tips for Gameweek 30, as domestic football returns following the international break.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a fascinating week in FPL<\/strong><\/a>, with international games in progress and key FA Cup<\/strong><\/a> fixtures that will have a huge impact in shaping our seasons.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s been relatively little activity in the Fantasy transfer market so far this break, with only a handful of players increasing or dropping in price.<\/p>\n

I expect this to change over the weekend, as we learn who will have a blank in Gameweek 34 and who may end up with a Double Gameweek (potentially in Gameweek 33).<\/p>\n

With that in mind, you may need to act quickly to secure your targets. Here are a couple to keep your eye on for the next week or so.<\/p>\n

Az’s FPL Tips For Gameweek 30<\/h2>\n

Eberechi Eze (\u00a36.7m, 7.9%)<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been a disappointing campaign for Eberechi Eze<\/strong><\/a> so far.<\/p>\n

Only eight attacking returns is fewer than teammates Mateta (14) and Sarr (11), and there have not been too many games where Eze has really shown his class to take matches by the scruff of the neck and win points for his team.<\/p>\n

While a number of metrics are down on average for Eze this season compared to last (most notably, minutes per FPL point), it\u2019s worth noting that his minutes per attempt stat is actually slightly higher (23.2 vs. 24.7).<\/p>\n

Eze has had more shots (83) than Mateta (54) and Sarr (43) and has multiple routes to points, dominating set pieces.<\/p>\n

His xG stats over the season indicate that he has massively underperformed, scoring four goals less than perhaps he should have done.<\/p>\n

Is this the sign of a player out of form, or simply one who is going to suddenly make good on the numbers?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m backing the latter, and with a guaranteed Double Gameweek for Eze in Gameweek 32 and another on the horizon – if they can beat Fulham<\/strong><\/a> in the cup – Eze will likely be entering my team before the deadline rolls around.<\/p>\n

Yankuba Minteh (\u00a35.0m, 1.8%)<\/h3>\n

Since the 7-0 thrashing by Nottingham Forest<\/strong><\/a>, Brighton have gone on to become the most in-form team in the country, with four wins and a draw over the last five games.<\/p>\n

A key player over this period has been Minteh, who has shrugged off a season of mixed form to once again nail down his spot on the right wing, supplying two goals in the league and another couple against Newcastle<\/strong><\/a> in the previous round of the FA Cup.<\/p>\n

Looking at the numbers over the season, Minteh ranks higher than his teammates in terms of xGI per 90 (190.2), with Mitoma (192.8), Mitoma (211.4) and Pedro (234) taking slightly longer to register an xG than the Gambian international.<\/p>\n

While Welbeck and Pedro battle it out for the number nine position, Minteh and Mitoma seem relatively rotation-proof on their respective sides of the attack now – but Minteh will set you back \u00a31.5m less.<\/p>\n

Regardless of price, he\u2019s my preferred pick in the Brighton<\/strong><\/a> attack and can free up funds elsewhere as we look to reinvent our squads.<\/p>\n

Savinho (\u00a36.2m, 2.7%)<\/h3>\n

Savinho<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It\u2019s the worst season from Manchester City<\/strong><\/a> in many years, but looking at the remaining fixtures, they look set to have a strong end to 24\/25.<\/p>\n

According to the Fantasy Football Scout fixture ticker, they have the best run of games to finish the season and try and guarantee Champions League<\/strong><\/a> football next season.<\/p>\n

While Haaland and Marmoush are obvious contenders for our forward positions, picking the right midfielder from the Cityzens is a tougher ask.<\/p>\n

De Bruyne is struggling for minutes, Foden is struggling for form – and other players are in and out of the team on Pep\u2019s whim.<\/p>\n

Two assists in his second game against Ipswich<\/strong><\/a> was a good start to life in Manchester, but then just one assist in 16 games followed as Savinho dipped in and out of the team as City toiled.<\/p>\n

Savinho has now started the last six, registering two assists over this time. Pep will want more from the Brazilian however, he only has one goal this season.<\/p>\n

Encouragingly, over his last six games, only six midfielders have had more touches in the box, indicating he\u2019s getting into promising positions \u2013 we just need him to pull the trigger.<\/p>\n

Up next is Leicester<\/strong><\/a>, who have conceded more chances down Savinho\u2019s flank than any other team in the league.<\/p>\n

This is a great opportunity for Savinho to add some attacking returns to his tally and really cement himself in the lineup for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n

I expect City to score at least three goals on Wednesday and I\u2019m backing a strong end to the season for the winger.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
