Legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum believes Tyson Fury should stay retired and NOT fight again. The Top Rank kingpin has co-promoted ‘The Gypsy King’ since 2018, and feels that Fury should enjoy retirement now and not step foot in a boxing ring again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bob Arum Comments On Tyson Fury Retirement<\/h2>\n

Following his second defeat at the hand of Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in their rematch back in December, Tyson Fury<\/a> announced his retirement from the sport of boxing.<\/p>\n

This was the fourth or fifth time that ‘The Gypsy King’ had announced his retirement, but this time he seemed more serious. That being said, boxing fans are still speculating about a potential comeback for the former two-time world heavyweight king.<\/p>\n

A fight with British rival Anthony Joshua<\/a> remains incredibly lucrative for both fighters, albeit both are now past their best. Although this is a fight that would make insane amounts of money for both Fury and ‘AJ’, a lot of people believe the fight shouldn’t happen and that Fury should remain retired.<\/p>\n

Fury has been co-promoted by Hall of Fame promoters Frank Warren<\/a> and Bob Arum since around 2018. Both Warren and Arum want Tyson to do what is right and stick to his guns, whether that be enjoying retirement or returning to the ring.<\/p>\n

However, Arum has been more vocal on why he feels ‘The Gypsy King’ should not return to the ring ever again. The Top Rank boxing<\/a> promoter believes that Fury owes it to himself and his family to remain retired, and that he should enjoy the fruits of his labour and millions of pounds he has made.<\/p>\n

If Tyson Fury<\/a> were to return to the ring, he would still be one of the best heavyweights in the world. The temptation will always be there, as it is with so many fighters and has been over the years.<\/p>\n

As previously mentioned, an all-British clash with Anthony Joshua<\/a> remains an option and one that makes sense for both men. However, Bob Arum feels that Tyson Fury<\/a> should totally forget about professional boxing and instead stay well away from the ring.<\/p>\n
