At the tender age of 19, Jobe Bellingham is making waves in the Championship for high-flying Sunderland.<\/p>\n

The teenager has been integral to the Black Cats’ playoff charge, where they have all but sealed a spot for the second consecutive season.<\/p>\n

After a glittering debut season at Sunderland where he netted seven goals, he has taken up a slightly deeper role where he continues to dictate the tempo of games, like that of a player many years his senior.<\/p>\n

At 19 he has played the full 90 minutes in every game he has been available for this term \u2014 adding three goals and four assists \u2014 and his performances have certainly not gone unnoticed.<\/p>\n

Florian Plettenburg of Sky Sports Germany has revealed that RB Leipzig have done their due diligence on Bellingham, reportedly holding initial discussions around his availability and sounding out a price, although Sunderland’s valuation will likely be a sticking point, if and when they come to negotiate.<\/p>\n

With Leipzig notoriously frugal and Bellingham penning fresh terms on his contract only last summer \u2014 keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027-2028 season \u2014 the German club could be forced to pay over the odds to pry him away this summer.<\/p>\n

Fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are also known to be eyeing a move for Bellingham<\/a>, who may have his head turned after brother Jude enjoyed a hugely successful spell at the club before launching his career at Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Closer to home, Premier League<\/a> pair Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly made their interest known in the England U21 star.<\/p>\n

Bellingham’s chances of staying at Sunderland could hinge on their promotion push, with many admirers adamant he is already cut out to play at an elite level.<\/p>\n
