Los Rojiblancos gave it their all in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg, beating Real Madrid 1-0 in 120 minutes. However, the All-Whites still had the last laugh, as they nicked a thrilling win on penalties.<\/p>\n

In their last match before the international break, Atleti suffered a demoralising 4-2 defeat to Barcelona in La Liga. Simeone hoped for a change of fortunes after the international window, but it did not turn out that way, as Espanyol held them to a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Robin Le Normand, who suffered a head injury against Espanyol, should be fit enough for the bench.<\/p>\n

Angel Correa will be Atletico Madrid’s only surefire absentee, as he is serving a suspension for using foul language towards the referee.<\/p>\n

Barcelona, on the other hand, will be without long-term absentees Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Bernal, and Marc Casado. Dani Olmo, who suffered an adductor injury in Barca’s last outing, will also miss the game.<\/p>\n
