The 2025 International Darts Open draw sees the PDC Order of Merit Top 16 in action from Saturday onwards in Riesa, Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Defending champion Martin Schindler aims to go back-to-back as the top Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifier, with Gerwyn Price looking for a record fifth International Darts Open title in just seven years.<\/p>\n

International Darts Open Draw Sees PDC Top 16 In Action<\/h2>\n

The third European Tour event of the year is almost upon us as the 2025 International Darts Open takes centre stage in Riesa this weekend.<\/p>\n

The International Darts Open draw is now complete, with the Top 16 darts players on the PDC Order of Merit automatically qualifying for Round 2. The 32 places up for grabs in Round 1 have been filled by 16 Pro Tour qualifiers, 10 Tour Card qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic qualifier and one East European qualifier.<\/p>\n

The Round 1, Round 2, Last 16 and Quarter-Finals matches are all the best of 11 legs. The two Semi-Finals are best of 13 legs, with the Final on Sunday the best of 15 legs.<\/p>\n

There is also \u00a3175,000 in total International Darts Open prize money up for grabs, with the eventual winning bagging the \u00a330,000 maximum purse.<\/p>\n

International Darts Open Draw Throws Up Some Tasty Round 2 Matches<\/h3>\n

The draw for Round 1 of the International Darts Open has not yet taken place. The draw will be conducted late on Thursday 3rd April of early Friday 4th April ahead of the tournament getting underway later that day.<\/p>\n

That being said, there could be some tasty affairs in Round 2 judging by the draw bracket. If Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock both win their Round 2 clashes, they could meet in a tantalising Last 16 affair.<\/p>\n

The same can be said for four-time winner Gerwyn Price, who could face fellow Premier League star Nathan Aspinall in the Last 16.<\/p>\n

Some of the Pro Tour qualifiers like Martin Schindler, Michael Smith, Mike de Decker, Raymond van Barneveld, Daryl Gurney, Gian van Veen, Cameron Menzies and Ryan Searle will be confident of going deep in the tournament.<\/p>\n

Should they all come through their respective Round 1 matches unscathed, they could cause a few upsets against some of the biggest names and top seeds in the tournament.<\/p>\n

We will update this article in due course when the 2025 International Darts Open draw has been conducted for Round 1.<\/p>\n

2025 International Darts Open Draw<\/h3>\n

The Top 16 players in the official PDC Order of Merit automatically qualify for Round 2 of the 2025 International Darts Open. This is with the exception of Luke Littler, who has decided to miss this week’s European Tour event.<\/p>\n

Round 1 sees 16 matches between 32 players who have qualified through different ways. 16 players qualified for this European Tour event through the Pro Tour Order of Merit.<\/p>\n

A further 10 players are Tour Card qualifiers, with four Host Nation qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic qualifier and one East European qualifier. That makes the 48 man field.<\/p>\n

The 16 players who win their Round 1 matches will face one of the PDC Order of Merit Top 16 players in Round 2. The draw is as follows:<\/p>\n
