As the tennis season reaches the start of the clay swing, a 56-strong draw head to Monaco for the third Masters 1000 of the year. With the region offering riches for the ultra-wealthy, this year’s Monte Carlo Masters prize money pool is no different.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first of three clay Masters 1000 tournaments is typically one of the favourites amongst those on the ATP Tour, with the Monte Carlo Country Club staging one of the most picturesque sporting events on the planet.<\/p>\n

56 of the world’s best will battle it out against an ocean-view backdrop on the sun-drenched French Riviera, and as previous years have shown, this tournament usually has its favourites.<\/p>\n

Stefanos Tsitsipas, who has won three of the last four editions, got the better of Casper Ruud in last year’s final, which pitted two players with a penchant for clay against each other.<\/p>\n

The change in surface usually unsettles some and comforts others, and the likes of Ruud and Tsitsipas will no doubt be fighting in the latter stages despite suffering from choppy form so far this season.<\/p>\n

2025 Monte Carlo Masters Prize Money<\/h2>\n

Beyond the glory of winning silverware and the abundance of ranking points that comes with clinching a Masters 1000, Monte Carlo also offers generous renumeration for its competitors.<\/p>\n

2025 sees a total purse of \u20ac6,128,940, with the eventual champion collecting \u20ac946,610<\/strong> of that in winning prize money.<\/p>\n

Stefanos Tsitsipas will be vying to make it four career titles in Monte Carlo, and he could stand to win 3% more prize money than he did this time last year.<\/p>\n

At the other end of the spectrum, the trend towards propping up those who crash out in the opening matches continues, with \u20ac24,500 going to first round losers.<\/p>\n
