Munster And Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley has signed a two-year extension with the province and the IRFU to keep him at Munster Until 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crowley, 25, has been capped 24 times for Ireland<\/strong>, but had been heavily linked with a big-money move to English Premiership side Leicester Tigers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A lack of game time for Ireland during this year’s Six Nations<\/strong> – where he started just once, against Italy – was reportedly a driving factor in his possible departure.<\/p>\n

With Leinster’s<\/strong> Sam Prendergast appearing to have nailed down the starting 10 shirt, Crowley looked destined for a spell abroad.<\/p>\n

But this new deal will keep him at Thomond Park<\/strong> for a further two years, and still in Ireland contention.<\/p>\n

Jack Crowley Signs Munster Contract Extension To Fight For Ireland Place<\/h2>\n

Prendergast started Ireland’s opening four games during this year’s Six Nations but was dropped for Crowley for the final round.<\/p>\n

The pair have been likened to legendary Irish fly-halves Ronan O’Gara<\/strong> and Johnny Sexton, who also battled it out for the starting role while playing for Munster<\/strong> and Leinster respectively.<\/p>\n

Crowley came through at Cork Constitution before joining the Munster senior squad in 2021.<\/p>\n

In 2022-23, he helped Munster to the URC title and was rewarded with his Ireland debut against Fiji.<\/p>\n

He then played a vital role in the 2024 Six Nations triumph but had since fallen behind Prendergast during the 2025 tournament.<\/p>\n
