$20Million Worth Of Prize Money On Offer At The Masters 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first major championship of the year is finally here. The Masters takes centre-stage this week from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, with all of the world’s best players battling it out for Masters supremacy and that coveted Green Jacket.<\/p>\n

Last year it was world number one Scottie Scheffler who reigned supreme at Augusta, winning his second Masters title and second major. This year, he aims to make it a hat-trick of victories around the hallowed turf of Augusta National.<\/p>\n

As one of the biggest events in golf, The Masters prize money is rather lucrative to say the least. The total prize money and purse splits for all 50 players who make the cut at the 2025 Masters is a colossal $20million.<\/p>\n

Alongside Scottie Scheffler, all of the biggest names in world golf are set to feature this week, looking to get their hands on the coveted trophy and Green Jacket.<\/p>\n

Whoever clinches victory come Sunday will leave Augusta National with an extra $3.6million in the bank, with the runner-up also pocketing a tidy $2,160,000.<\/p>\n

This $20m purse is actually smaller than some of the inflated prize pots on the PGA Tour at some of the elevated events. That being said, it is still a lot of money and holds far more prestige winning at Augusta than any other course in the world.<\/p>\n

Even the player that finishes in 50th place, the last of the players that make the cut, will be guaranteed a payday of $50,400. The players who play Round 1 & 2 but don’t make the cut will also be guaranteed $10,000 in appearance cash. Not bad for four days of work!<\/p>\n
