Q) Should We Buy Saka This Week?<\/h3>\n

Big Man Bakar’s Gameweek 33 FPL Tips: Leaving Bukayo Saka Would be a Gamble<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I\u2019m unsure whether Saka will start both games in the double, but going without him this week feels like a risky gamble that could backfire.<\/p>\n

Both of his fixtures are so appealing that I\u2019m confident locking him in \u2014 the thought of missing out on a big score if I misjudge his minutes is too risky.<\/p>\n

Q) Who Is the Best Captain?<\/h3>\n

Big Man Bakar Picks Omar Marmoush As Captain<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s a really tricky decision between Saka and Marmoush this week. While Salah\u2019s fixture at Leicester is easily the best among the single Gameweek options, I just can\u2019t resist the temptation of a double \u2014 so I\u2019ll be following that route again.<\/p>\n

Between Saka and Marmoush, who I choose to captain will ultimately come down to my assessment of Saka’s expected minutes. If I think he starts both, then he is probably the better option, especially considering that Arsenal’s fixtures are more favourable than City’s.<\/p>\n

Ipswich have been one of the poorest defences in the league, and I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if Palace rest some of their first-team regulars with their FA Cup semi-final just after the Arsenal match.<\/p>\n

Having said that, Marmoush is probably the safer choice as there are no concerns over his minutes. I generally tend to play safe, but this one will come down to my gut instinct pre-deadline.<\/p>\n

Q) Is It Worth Considering Rashford or Watkins? Is Rashford a Better Buy Than Rogers?<\/h3>\n

Morgan Rogers seems to be the only Villa attacker we can safely rely on for minutes. While Rashford playing up front offers a higher ceiling, there’s a real concern that both he and Watkins could share starts in the double.<\/p>\n

I don’t think there’s a need to overthink this one \u2014 just pick Rogers for the minutes.<\/p>\n

Q) Is It Ok to Sell Murphy?<\/h3>\n

Despite his strong form, I think Murphy is sellable due to his poor fixtures\u2014 especially for a double Gameweeker like Rogers.<\/p>\n

Villa could also have a double Gameweek in Gameweek 36, so getting a Villa attacker now potentially gets you a doubler for Gameweek 36 as well.<\/p>\n

Q) Is Doubling Up on the City Defence a Good Strategy?<\/h3>\n

With minutes for the City’s midfielders up in the air, doubling up on the City defence is emerging as a strong option. Gvardiol is more popularly owned, but I also like Dias \u2013 injuries in the City defence mean that Dias should offer steady game time for the time being.<\/p>\n

He’s also clearly the first choice so should play the majority of games between now and the end of the season. Akanji is back in training, but I’d still expect Dias to be safe for both games in the double this week. With a double Gameweek this week and another potential one in Gameweek 36, there is strong merit to the Dias selection.<\/p>\n

Q) Who to Sell for Gabriel?<\/h3>\n

Gabriel Is a Strong Option<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As mentioned above, Dias presents a really strong case. I\u2019m a big fan of Kiwior as well \u2014he\u2019s stepped in effortlessly for Gabriel and offers excellent value at his price.<\/p>\n

With Arsenal given a 73% probability to keep at least one clean sheet by the bookmakers this week, he’s a really solid pick.<\/p>\n

Q) Is De Bruyne a Realistic Option?<\/h3>\n

I think KDB could be a spicy differential for those on a Free Hit. If I\u2019m investing in a City player at this point, I need to be sure of their game time\u2014especially with the potential double in Gameweek 36 looming.<\/p>\n

Long term, I have zero confidence in De Bruyne’s minutes.<\/p>\n

Q) Should the Triple Captain Chip be Used This Week?<\/h3>\n

Yes, I would.<\/p>\n

Gameweek 36 is another potential window, but the uncertainty around it would be enough to put me off.<\/p>\n

Q) Should the Bench Boost Chip be Used This Week?<\/h3>\n

Yes, if you’ve structured your team with the chip in mind, using it now is almost a no-brainer.<\/p>\n

Q) When should the Free Hit Chip be Used?<\/h3>\n

As most teams have set themselves up for the doubles, it would naturally make sense for them to use the chip in Gameweek 34 as the teams doubling in 33 are scheduled to blank in 34.<\/p>\n
