The 2025 Zurich Classic prize money on offer this week has risen to $9.2m this year. Join us as well examine the full Zurich Classic prize money, individual and team purses plus much more for this PGA Tour team event at TPC Louisiana.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any pair who misses the cut will earn next to nothing in Zurich Classic prize money and will only receive appearance money, with the full $9.2m purse split between the 33 teams (and ties) who make the weekend.<\/p>\n

Below we have outlined the FULL purse breakdown for all 33 teams who make the cut this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.<\/p>\n

$9.2M Worth Of Prize Money On Offer At 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This week sees the Zurich Classic of New Orleans take centre-stage on the PGA Tour in what is a pairs tournament with some of the world’s best golfers teaming up for one week only.<\/p>\n

Career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy wo this event on debut last year with partner Shane Lowry, and they’re looking to go back-to-back this year at TPC Louisiana.<\/p>\n

This event is one of the more fun ones on the PGA Tour, but still draws huge crowds and some brilliant pairings. Not all of the world’s best players tee it up at this event, but a lot still do. The likes of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele are another pair who regularly compete in a team at this event.<\/p>\n

Given that it is a team event and non-elevated, the Zurich Classic prize money isn’t as lucrative as some other PGA Tour events. That being said, it is still a lot of cash. The total prize money and purse splits for all 33 pairs who make the cut at this week is $9.2m.<\/p>\n

As the defending champions and form players, it comes as no surprise to learn that the Irish duo of McIlroy & Lowry are the outright favourites with the best UK golf betting sites.<\/p>\n

Zurich Classic Purse Is $1,329,400 Each For The Winning Pair Of PGA Tour Team Event<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Whoever goes on to lift the trophy come Sunday will be in for a bumper payday and large share of the Zurich Classic prize money pot for the 2025 tournament.<\/p>\n

Whichever pair clinches victory come Sunday will leave TPC Louisiana with an extra $1,329,400 in the bank each. This means that the winning pair split $2,658,800 down the middle and receive a 50% share.<\/p>\n

The team that finish in second place as runners-up will split $1,085,600 right down the middle, meaning they will each pocket $542,800.<\/p>\n

This $9.2m purse isn’t one of the most lucrative on the PGA Tour, with several elevated events and major championships all paying out double or even triple sometimes. That being said, it is still a lot of money and a lucrative purse in the grand scheme of things.<\/p>\n

Even the players that finishes in 33rd place, the last of the pairs that make the cut, will be guaranteed a payday of $19,228 each. Not bad for four days of work!<\/p>\n

The players who play Round 1 & 2 but don’t make the cut will unfortunately not win any of the Zurich Classic prize money on offer. That being said, they will still earn a bit of cash in appearance money for playing Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n
