Penta<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>WWE Raw After WrestleMania Highlights<\/h2>\n<h3>John Cena Promo<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"29\" data-end=\"472\">John Cena made his entrance with a snarl, wearing the title belt backward and receiving pyro as the crowd chanted his name. He called up the ring announcer to deliver a sarcastic, self-aggrandising intro and declared himself the \u201clast real champion\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"29\" data-end=\"472\">Cena addressed the crowd with disdain, saying they don\u2019t deserve forgiveness just for cheering him now. He demanded an apology and mocked their attempts, calling them soft, fake, and irrelevant to him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"843\">Cena reminded fans of his limited appearances\u2014down to 27\u2014and said when he\u2019s done, the legacy of real champions ends with him. He claimed the title belongs with legends like Bruno, Austin, and Triple H\u2014pointedly omitting Cody Rhodes\u2014and said Cody was \u201cdestroyed\u201d and undeserving. He blamed the fans for turning on Cody and declared no one else in WWE measures up to him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"1023\">Just as Cena raised the belt and declared himself \u201cthe last real champ\u201d, <em data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"931\">Randy Orton<\/em> appeared and dropped him with an RKO <em data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"985\">out of nowhere<\/em>, standing tall with the belt in hand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1157\">A clear path is set: Cena vs. Orton at Backlash in St. Louis. Valkyria impressed with a tornado DDT and hit her Knight Wing finisher on Raquel, but Liv saved the pin by placing Raquel\u2019s boot on the bottom rope.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"749\">After a wild flurry of offense, Raquel powerbombed Liv onto Valkyria, but Valkyria got her knees up. Valkyria went for another Knight Wing, but Liv countered after Raquel knocked Valkyria into Lynch. Liv hit Oblivion on the distracted Valkyria to score the win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1628\"><strong>Winners and NEW Champions: Liv Morgan &amp; Raquel Rodriguez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1628\">Post-match, Becky helped Valkyria up\u2014then suddenly snapped, shoving her down and attacking her in frustration. Rusev looks like a monster.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2449\">Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">Iyo Sky entered the ring to a warm reception and reflected on her historic WrestleMania victory, calling it the best night of her career.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">Fans chanted, \u201cYou deserve it!\u201d when Stephanie Vaquer made her entrance. Adam Pearce confirmed the match would take place.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">The two champions went back and forth in an exciting 14-minute contest, with fans chanting \u201cThis is awesome!\u201d midway through. Vaquer showcased her agility with a leap off the barricade onto Sky.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">At the 13-minute mark, both were slow to get up, and fans chanted, \u201cFight forever!\u201d Sky delivered a daring Spanish Fly, but the action was interrupted when Roxanne Perez ran in and attacked Sky.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\"><strong>Match ended in a No Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">Giulia joined the fray to help Perez, but Rhea Ripley\u2019s music hit, and she charged out to knock Perez out of the ring with a headbutt.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2625\">Ripley and Giulia exchanged glares before Giulia exited, and Ripley handed Sky her title. Cole noted that Jey was the massive underdog and surprised everyone, especially Gunther, by making him tap.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"27\" data-end=\"460\">Fans chanted \u201cOne more time!\u201d as Jey soaked in the moment and wore a shirt that read \u201cWorld Heavy-Yeet Champion.\u201d He told the crowd, \u201cThe World Heavyweight Champion is now in your city! Yeet!\u201d and thanked them for their support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"902\">Sami Zayn\u2019s music played, and he interrupted Jey\u2019s celebration. Jey seemed frustrated at first but softened as Sami expressed how proud he was of him, calling him his brother and \u201cUce.\u201d Fans chanted, \u201cYou deserve it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"902\">Sami shared a heartfelt moment, then urged the music to play so they could celebrate together. After a brief tense moment, Jey and Sami hugged, and Jimmy Uso joined them. Officials tried to break up the confrontation, but Gunther put McAfee in a sleeper as well.<\/p>\n<p>After a tense struggle, Gunther released McAfee and walked off. McAfee was assisted to the back as fans chanted his name.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3813\" data-end=\"3977\">Cole later returned to ringside (backed by chants of \u201cMichael Cole!\u201d) as he refused to back down to a bully. Tessitore jumping in for Pat was a neat surprise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3979\" data-end=\"4078\">Incredible heat for Gunther. As Penta went for a huracanrana on Balor at ringside, a returning JD McDonagh appeared and shoved Penta off the top rope.<\/p>\n<p>Dom capitalised with a 619 and a frog splash to retain the title. McDonagh, Carlito, Liv, and Raquel celebrated up the ramp, while Finn Balor observed, seemingly unaware of McDonagh\u2019s impending return.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winner: Dominik Mysterio<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Judgment Day strengthens once again!<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/RawAfterMania?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#RawAfterMania<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8CzK8JdY4e\">pic.twitter.com\/8CzK8JdY4e<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WWE (@WWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/1914507934110797946?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 22, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3979\" data-end=\"4078\">Seth Rollins &amp; Paul Heyman Promo Segment<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"896\">Seth Rollins made his entrance wearing a garish, bright yellow outfit, with a dastardly Paul Heyman by his side.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"1288\">Chants of \u201cThank you, Seth!\u201d were quickly drowned out by louder \u201cCM Punk!\u201d chants and even more hostile \u201cF&#8212; you, Heyman!\u201d chants \u2014 some of which were partially muted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"1288\">Seth leaned into it, bragging that he is a visionary and a revolutionary who \u201cstole Punk\u2019s best friend\u201d and a Wiseman from Roman Reigns. He declared himself the winner of the Mania main event, just as Punk\u2019s music hit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1592\">CM Punk stormed the ring, taped fists ready, and unloaded on Rollins, getting the upper hand before turning his attention to Heyman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1592\">The crowd turned molten as Punk cornered Heyman, but Seth saved him with an eye gouge and a stomp. Chants of \u201cWe want Roman!\u201d followed. Then \u2014 Roman Reigns <em data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1584\">did<\/em> come out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"2069\">Reigns marched to the ring and delivered a thunderous Spear to Rollins, then nailed Heyman with a Superman Punch. Just as he was about to deliver a Spear to Heyman, <em data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1774\">Bron Breakker<\/em> appeared out of nowhere and Speared Reigns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"2069\">Breakker also took out Punk, then stood tall with Heyman and Rollins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2071\" data-end=\"2239\">Then it got even wilder \u2014 Reigns got up and fought back at Breakker at ringside, but Breakker responded with a <em data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2193\">massive<\/em> Spear that sent Reigns through the barricade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2241\" data-end=\"2429\">Back in the ring, Rollins stomped Punk as Breakker held Reigns in place for another stomp. Heyman stood tall with his new faction: <em data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2429\">Seth Rollins, and Bron Breakker.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The landscape has changed on Monday Night Raw! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/eJZ3Iv5p4K\">pic.twitter.com\/eJZ3Iv5p4K<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WWE (@WWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/1914513419731869724?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 22, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2571\">Cole said it best: \u201cPaul Heyman has apparently changed the game again.\u201d And Tessitore added that Breakker is now \u201cthe next Paul Heyman guy\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">WWE Raw After WrestleMania Review<\/h2>\n<p>Probably the best Raw after Mania in over a decade. While not loaded with actual in-ring action, nearly every segment had purpose, progression, or a payoff. That\u2019s what wrestling TV should be.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s division really stood out. Obviously Iyo\/Vaquer was great but the tag match was enjoyable too. Liv Morgan is so much better when she&#8217;s not running away and cowering but proving herself as a competent and capable wrestler. The Becky turn is the right decision but the execution has been messy. They shouldn&#8217;t have done Bayley so dirty and should&#8217;ve had Becky turn up on TV in the build to Mania. That way you could&#8217;ve had Bayley and Roxanne continue their own thing separately.<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Vaquer has future WrestleMania main eventer written all over her, and Iyo Sky may very well be the new in-ring ace of WWE with Cody Rhodes no longer the champion. If WWE plays its cards right, the women could truly define the next era of the company.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, great to see Rusev back. He looked phenomenal, and although the <em data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1067\">Rusev Day<\/em> gimmick worked well at the time, he works best as a straight-up unstoppable monster, and WWE would be wise to tap into the <em data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1169\">Redeemer<\/em> persona he crafted in AEW.<\/p>\n<p>The Gunther angle was fantastic. Really, really well done.<\/p>\n<p>The real game-changer, however, was the Rollins\/Heyman\/Breakker stuff. The faction immediately makes Breakker a top-tier player in WWE, and it\u2019s only a matter of time before he\u2019s propelled to main event status (now would be the perfect time to change his name to Bron Steiner).<\/p>\n<p>Heyman\u2019s involvement has historically been a launchpad for superstars, so expect whoever else joins this faction to get a massive push.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, this Raw after WrestleMania felt like the first real win for WWE in months.
